Shane Christiansen has lots of great qualities, and one of them is his unique ability to listen actively and gather what is going on around him. He also has an endearing, wide-eyed wonder about the world around him. He’s one of those people who asks really good questions and cares about the answers. Shane’s awareness for what is going on around him is a refreshing characteristic in this sometimes selfish and self-focused world. He likes to keep order around him, like he did in his previous role as sergeant at arms for People First, and also in his job, where he takes great pride in his work. Active in Speaking for Ourselves - Colorado, People First, and Coffee House, Shane is charismatic and outgoing with a great laugh. When not participating in self-advocacy groups or at work, he can often be found enjoying sporting events, including his beloved Denver Broncos.
