At John and Penny Quickle’s house, teamwork is top priority. Along with their 23-year-old son, Roger, the family functions like a well-oiled machine taking care of the house, grocery shopping, cooking, and juggling John and Roger’s rides to and from work, using only one car. Penny has begun a well-earned retirement and enjoys taking care of their dog, Noelle, the family’s adorable shih tzu-schnauzer mix. John and Penny have been married more than 20 years and still have an unbreakable bond. Not only are they fantastic at managing their home and family, but they are equally great at knowing what resources can provide support when they need it. At The Arc, they not only find advocacy and support, but they have a place where they are always welcome and valued.
